The Myth About Protein

Many athletes think they need extra protein because they are burning so many calories. This is not true.

Protein is needed to help build muscles but, a well balanced diet which includes two or three servings of protein and two or three servings of dairy will supply the protein that you need. Example of protein sources are lean meats, fish, eggs, peanut butter, nuts such as cashews or almonds, Soy products and tofu.
