Owner, Sonia Jones of Destination Athlete of Yorktown, VA cut the ribbon on the new retail store located at 2900 George Washington Memorial Highway.  This specialty franchise store is a one-stop team resource offering products and services from training to trophies to include Equipment (Sports & Fielding Equipment, Reconditioning), Apparel (Team Uniforms, Spirit Wear, Varsity Jackets), Fundraising (Your Team Store online, Snack Shack, Events…), and Performance (Items, Development, App).  Destination Athlete’s corporate office is in Lebanon, New Jersey, and most of their franchisees are home-based businesses.  The Yorktown location marks the second retail store.  In celebration of the company’s 10-year anniversary in July 2018, they are saying ‘thank you’ to the nation’s veterans by awarding “10 franchises to 10 deserving veterans.”  York County says welcome Destination Athlete of Yorktown, VA, a true company that gives back.
